As a foreigner you are required to have a tourist visa to enter India, this can be applied for using the link below. You can choose to apply for either a 1-year or 5-year visa.

Best time to travel in India
Between October and March is the best time to travel in India avoiding the monsoon season and very hot months of May to August
Weather
India is a big country and the weather can vary from region to region. Places such as the Himalayas can be cooler at night and so its sensible to bring something warm to for the evening chill.
Clothing
Choose your riding gear to suit your level of comfort and safety that aligns with the location of the tour you are joining. For instance, the Ladak tour will require warmer riding gear as it is within the Himalayan mountain region. If you are unsure then please ask us.
Internal Travel
There is a weight allowance on hold baggage on some airlines of 15kg with an option to purchase additional baggage allowance.
Electricity
The electricity operates at 230 volts. Make sure you bring an adaptor for charging your phones, cameras, and any other electronic devices.
Money
We suggest you bring a small amount of cash for when you first arrive. Most major currencies are easily exchanged and Credit and Debit cards are widely used in India and withdrawing cash from an ATM is straight forward.
Photography
There are so many opportunities for taking photographs and if you like taking photos then India will delight you. Please be considerate and respect local customs, when in holy or religious places and the people within them to avoid causing any offence. Your guide will help you if you are unsure what is appropriate photography.
SIM Card
You can use your mobile phone here in India but please check with your home country cell phone service provider for roaming chargers in India. This will help you avoid unexpected charges. Alternatively, you can purchase a local sim card at the airport upon arrival they will require your passport to process this.
Travel and Health Insurance
It is not mandatory but we recommend you have adequate insurance for the entire length of your travel to suit your needs. Please check that your insurance covers motorcycle touring.
Gifts
Consider leaving a little space in your luggage case for any gifts you may wish to purchase and take home with you. You may wish to bring a few small gifts from you own country to share families you may meet.
