Join Professional Photographer and Motorcycle Enthusiast Sergio Kurhajec for a guided Photography Motorcycle Tour into the heartland and of Rajasthan. A photographers dream world.

Sergio is a world-renowned Photographer and skilled motorcyclist, he is very much looking forward to returning to India to help others discover the magic that captured his heart and lens.

In 2024 Sergio did a solo ride of Rajasthan with Good Vibrations. He covered over 2000kms and captured the most amazing and intimate images that only traveling on a motorcycle allows.

He is excited to return and host this exclusive tour where you will be encouraged, guided and supported in your own Photography journey.

Good Vibrations is a boutique Motorcycle Tour company owned by 2 Kiwis, Jonathan Spark and his wife Yasmeen Clark and their business partner and dearest friend Manu Singh.

Yasmeen and Jonathan have been traveling to India from New Zealand since 2017 and now reside in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Manu hails from Rajasthan and has been hosting international guests as an All India Tour operator for over 20 years.

We run quality small tours with a focus on 4-star heritage accommodation. This tour is set at an intermediate level of riding and pillions are welcome.

Rajasthan is the largest state in India by area, covering 342,239 square kilometres. It is located in the northern part of the country and is renowned for its tribal life, vibrant landscapes and incredible architecture

Itinerary

Day -1: 17th October - Jaipur

Jaipur

Your first day is all about a smooth arrival in Jaipur: You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in the city centre.

Those who arrive in Delhi can also plan to go to Agra on same day trip by train. Extensions available at extra cost. [From Delhi you can reach Jaipur by train, taxi or flight, let us know if you want us to arrange this for you]

In the evening get introduced to Sergio and with your tour guide and motorcycles. Your tour guide will share important info about your Royal Enfield trip.

There will be an optional evening ride to Jal Mahal, the Privately owned stunning Lake Palace, for some sunset Photography opportunity

Day -2: 18th October - Jaipur

Jaipur

Sunrise ride to the historic Nahagarh hilltop fort. Then returning for breakfast to fuel up before setting off to explore Jaipur with mix of riding and walking.

Taking a morning ride to the absolutely impressive Amber Palace, visiting your first stepwell, a monkey temple then returning via Jaigarh and Nahargarh road.

After lunch there will be a chance to explore the Hawa Mahal area on foot, where you will find many photographic opportunities. Regroup at hotel for dinner.

Day -3: 19th October - Jaipur to Mandawa

Jaipur to Mandawa

Depart Jaipur early morning on your bikes and head to Mandawa via Lohargal and Nawalgarh.

You will be in awe of the incredible Haveli’s, the old wealthy merchant homes with their brightly painted frescos. Nawalgarh in particular is considered a Golden City of Rajasthan.

This will be a full day’s ride but with plenty of spontaneous stops.

Day -4: 20th October - Mandawa to Bikaner

Mandawa to Bikaner

After breakfast there will be a half day opportunity to explore Mandawa with its palatial mansions and colourful Haveli’s. A treasure trove of architectural wonder.

Day -5: 21th October - Bikaner to Camel Safari Desert Camp

Bikaner to Camel Safari Desert Camp

We have a half day to enjoy Bikaner, famous for its rich cultural heritage, historical landmarks like Junagarh Fort and Lalgarh Palace and vibrant traditions.

Then we will jump on our bikes and head into the Desert for a sunset Camel Safari and evening at a safari camp.

Day -6: 22th October - Desert Camp to Jodhpur

Desert Camp to Jodhpur

After a restful night in the silence of the desert ,we load up and take a run to the infamous Karni Mata Temple, the Rat Temple, where legend says you will be blessed if you catch sight of one of the rare white rats. The story behind the Karni Mata temple is full of sacrifice and mystery. A challenge to your sensibilities, a sacred site to the local people.

Onward to the blue city of Jodhpur

Day -7: 23th October - Jodhpur

Jodhpur

A full day to enjoy the incredible blue city, to explore the narrow lanes and markets, feel the hustle of the Clock Tower bazaar.

Visit the powerfully impressive Jodhpur Fort and capture unique and precious moments through your lens.

Day -8: 24th October - Jodhpur to Jojawar

A morning ride on the back roads and smooth highways to Jojawah, a small town with the most wonderful Boutique heritage hotel.

Your day will be magical as you climb aboard the old local train that runs through the hill stations of the Aravalis. A relaxing and magical experience as you traverse the forests, gorges and vaulted bridges. Sharing your ride with locals who will delight in your company.

A close encounter with the Langur Monkeys is guaranteed as we wait patiently for the train to come to rest. Local and landscape photography opportunities abound.

Day -9: 25th October - Jojawar to Udaipur

Jojawar to Udaipur

Departing late morning from your palace of luxury, you’ll skirt through the Aravalli’s, ancient sacred mountains scattered with temples and villages as old as time. Riding through river gorges and village roads.

Welcome to 3 nights in Udaipur. The Venice of India, the city of Lakes with its Palace resting on the edge of Lake Pichola. One of the 10 largest in India.

Once settled into your Old City accommodation you will have time for a stroll through the magical old city and enjoy Sundowners from one of the many roof top bars.

Day -10: 26th October - Udaipur

Udaipur

Udaipur is a wonderous city, with it’s many lakes bringing a cooler climate and peaceful feeling. Voted one of the top 10 most beautiful cities. Udaipur has a magic and light to it that will help you understand why Good Vibrations calls it home.

The last of the 4 capitals of the great state of Mewar. Surrounded by the Ancient Aravalli’s, and never conquered. Udaipur is a princely city with one of the largest lived in palaces in the world.

Udaipur has a gentle feel to and is easy to navigate on your bike, by tuktuk or with your own two feet.

There are so many places to eat, shop or just wander and people watch. In the centre of the old town is a very scared Jagdish Hindu Temple dating from the 1600s and is most worthy climb of the steps to the temple entrance.

A special afternoon visit is planned to the fantastic Animal Aid Unlimited, a charitable organisation Good Vibrations is proud to support. With 15 Animal Ambulances and 150 staff, over the past 22 year Animal Aid Unlimited has made an enormous difference to the community animals of Udaipur.

Day -11: 27th October - Udaipur

Udaipur

A day to regroup, explore further into the old city, take a ride to the nearby lakes and temple town of Eklingji, share lunch at the fun Dhabaology restaurant and spend time going through your photos together.

A special dinner that night will be planned for that evening.

Day -12: 28th October - Udaipur to Bundi

Udaipur

After these restful days in Udaipur, there will be an early start for a 5-hour ride to Bundi.

Known as Chhoti Khashi (Varanasi) because of its many temples and stunning architecture. You will continue to be in awe inspired by the beauty of Rajasthan.

You will have the afternoon and evening to enjoy this magical town with it’s hillside forts, stepwells and charm.

Day -13: 29th October - Bundi to Pushkar

A morning exploration of the fort and Palace before departing for 4.5 – 5 hr ride to Pushkar a popular temple town, famous for it’s annual camel fair and impressive central lake with it’s 52 bathing Ghats. There is reference to Pushkar lake on coins dating back to 4th century BC.

Day -14: 30th October - Pushkar to Jaipur

The last day on your bikes riding together, riding the via the Sambhar Lakes to your final destination of Jaipur.

Saying goodbye to your travelling friends and your bikes.

From here you can, if you wish, stay an extra night in Jaipur or take trains or your flight to Delhi, travel on to Agra as an extension package or wherever may want to go next.

Suitable equipment is essential to ensure this adventure is a success! Travel light: try to keep it below 15 kg (33 lbs) for your domestic flight, and it will make it easier for you to handle your luggage.

  • Duffle bag (with some plastic bags to protect the contents) or large backpack without an external metal frame. You can lock it with a padlock. Possibly a backpack cover. Before leaving, attach a label to your bag with your contact details and India Personal Tour's contact details.
  • A small backpack of 10/20 litres for the daytime (camera, sunscreen lotion).
